Any suggestions for where I could look for a dress for the ceremony. It will be in a hot climate, I am in my 50's, I want longer dress, in cool fabric (!), probably in a pale green but open to most things except orange (clashes with my rosie complaxion :rotfl:).
Don't want to spend lots so will be 'off the peg'.
I had a quick look at John Lewis, Debenhams and a few other places but nothing I fancied.
Any sensible suggestions appreciated!

Try Monsoon they often have lovely silk dresses which would be great in a hot climate.0

If it were me, I'd be browsing ebay too. Choose 'new', and look for say 'green dress elegant long'. Thousands come up. Choose your size, and maybe the length, and you'll probably still have loads to browse through. Choose 'UK' too as the sizes should be more reliable.

What about coast0

Don't forget to look at what the lining fabric is - there's little point in choosing a cool linen or silk for the dress if the lining is synthetic.0

If you fancied something a bit 'different', id suggest Vivien of Holloway
http://www.vivienofholloway.com/
Their sarong and circle dresses are gorgeous and very flattering, and fairly reasonable prices.
All the best
