As the name suggests a 'credit check' is meant to check credit worthiness.
This means trying to assert whether you usually pay your debts and whether you can afford what you are proposing to purchase.0 -
Thank you, I'll let you all know how it goes - fingers crossed!!!0

Hi, my application was accepted and I DO have a CCJ. I used a guarantor, which whilst not essential probably helped my case. Just make sure you are 100% honest and upfront and I don't see it being a problem. I think you should be fine, considering you don't have a CCJ or anything similar0

Look, without trying to dismiss well meaning posts:
There's no universal pass or fail, each LL has their own criteria, which their agent should enforce.0 -

Wonder why "Private Eye" refer to the FCA as
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recurring_in-jokes_in_Private_Eyethe Financial Conduct Authority is usually referred to as the "Financial c@ck-up Authority"
If you camelot has the evidence & references to the legislation yes of course I'll pay, just increased it to £10!
Any suggestions anyone?0
