    Hi brendang

Outchester and Ross cottages are in Northumberland and very close to the beach. From their website it says:

Our holiday cottages are all non-smoking. They are all pet free, apart from Hedgehope, Curlew and Wagtail Cottages, where we will accept one well-behaved dog.

I've stayed in Curlew and it's a lovely cottage.
