Euro car parks appeal

Hi
I received a PCN notice from Euro car parks, after parking in a country park for 15 minutes collecting my Son from a hike he had been on with his Beaver group.
Myself and 2 others received a PCN from Euro Car parks for not paying the £1.20 daily charge to park there.
We all appealed, and have had 3 rejections. One of the people has since paid the fine.
Would it be worth me appealing to the Ombudsman or should I pay the fine? Im worried I will end up paying more than the £40 they are asking for
