    That shield is in a perilous position. One more base rate cut could collapse it!
  • Wouldn't surprise me to see BoS vantage rates cut. Providing you can sort out DDs for yourself you're getting 3% on £15k.

    Wouldn't surprise me to see BoS vantage rates cut. Providing you can sort out DDs for yourself you're getting 3% on £15k.

    Spot on, personally I take the title of this thread to mean these accounts WILL be dropping their rates in the near future.

    personally I take the title of this thread to mean these accounts WILL be dropping their rates in the near future.

    So do I. I can't see them surviving an explicit review in these market conditions. Banks always keep their accounts under review but announcing an explicit review of current accounts in this way is different - it's basically a warning to expect the worst... :(
