How to stop my dog eating grass

Gitdog searches the garden at Nan's house for the extra long grass.
There's a difference for him between this sort of casual grazing and when he's got indigestion and is trying to make himself sick when he's grabbing mouthfuls and going into a complete grassy feeding frenzy. This is usually first thing in the morning and I just let him get on with it. I'd rather he was sick outdoors than on the carpet, and once he's thrown up he's usually fine. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
My dog does this regularly, he seems to go for the really long grass. Only problem is when it comes out the other end intact :eek:0

I used to have four cavaliers and watching them out on the lawn made me think of the music mnemonic 'All cows eat grass' as 'All cavs eats grass.' (They do also eat grass to make themselves sick, if they had a tummy upset.)
Teddy is 13 next month and still puts the front lawn in its place by grabbing a mouthful when going out of the door.
What instrument did you learn to remember the Bass Clef spaces?I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
