How to reinstall shared copy of Office 365 Home

My husband upgraded his pc last year and installed a new copy of Office 365 Home which he shared with me. It was a download onto my husband's hard disk originally and he then copied onto mine as a shared copy. He pays an annual sub for this which is current (I checked on my MS account and it says I have a current shared copy.)

However it is no longer present on my hard disk. I have searched in all the usual places. I think this is probably because a couple of months ago I had to replace my hard disk (which had developed an error) and copy it onto a new one. Since then I had not needed Word much and used my old copy of Word 2010. Now however I need access to Office 365 and it is not present on my hard disk. I think it must failed to have copy over onto my new hard disk but I did not notice at the time.

My MS account only offers a de-install option, not reinstall, presumably because my status is shown as shared currently. Any idea how I can reinstall it?

Sign into the Microsoft account it was set up with originally. This will be his account. All current versions of Office (2013/2016 and 365) are managed by Microsoft account.

If you log into the main microsoft account that is associated with the subscription, do you get the option to install from there ?

Thanks I have managed to reinstall Office 365 via my MS account but for some reason it does not show up in the Programs list. However I have managed to find and access the software by typing in the names of the individual products which make up Office 365 and then putting their icons on the toolbar.

I had to do exactly this recently, and you're right that on the reinstall Microsoft Office does not appear in the All Apps list for some reason, and I solved it the same way as you. The only difference is that when I first bought 365 the version was Office 2013 and it's now 2016, but whether that's anything to do with it I don't know.
