Nokia phone with £20 credit for £20

Tesco is doing a deal of the day of a Nokia 1112 phone with £20 of Tesco Mobile credit for £20. Read the page carefully to see how you get this deal - look for the words in purple.

I think the phone is great value for what you're paying, which is nothing other than the cost of the calls.

Best of all the battery lasts for nearly two weeks so it's a good phone to keep in the car.

It makes and receives telephone calls and texts, and doesn't have a camera or any other things like that, so children and thieves won't be interested. But we grown ups don't care about stuff like that. It does have a speaking clock, which is nice.

If you wanted, you could give it as a present to a child or student you don't like much because he or she would be ashamed to show his or her friends, but they would have to say thanks nicely because they wouldn't want you to cut them out of your will.

I neither know nor care whether Quidco works with this but don't let me stop you forgetting about it if you like.

The previous offer one was locked but I think Tesco mobile is a subset of O2 so ISTR an O2 SIM works (but can't confirm).

Has anyone tried to actually buy this offer? I've had real problems so have ended up calling Tesco direct and then the operator couldn't do it either so he is going to call me back.

On another note I have a Tesco PAYG Nokia mobile phone already so would I be able to use this sim card on the new phone? Sorry if I am a bit basic but mobile phone technology is not my strong point hence why I'm happy with this 'no tricks' handset!!! :o

don't wish to be dim (!) but will this come with a SIM card and be ready to use? it's for my Mom, so £20 will probably last her a year ;)
  • You can also recycle working mobile phones with tesco and get 500 clubcard points (http://www.tesco.com/greenclubcardpoints/) - this means that you get a phone and £20 of credit for £15.
