Why don't people include the price?

I suppose the flip side to all this is that some people may think not listing the price and leaving up to the buyer to ask questions will eliminate tyre kickers and those that want something for next to nothing. My personal experience of selling stuff through classifieds etc is that no mater how much detail you put in the ad, people still ask stupid questions that they already have the answer to if they bothered to read the adI hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0

Doesn't matter what price you put, there will always be those whose almost first question is 'what is the lowest price you will take', these people are not worth the time of day, if they come and view it they expect you to believe their utter baloney about how they have been offered a newer top of the range lower mileage better condition example for less than the price you want...what they never explain is why they are still messing about looking at yours when such a gem is going begging.
If someone is genuinely interested in the car they will make the call about it, the rest are just time wasters anyway and if not putting the price deters a few of those then why not.0 -

I love those people. The look on their faces when you say "OK, fair enough. I tell you what, why don't you go and buy that one then, as I'm not dropping the price", is very amusing.0
