Hello,
I would be really grateful If someone could advise me regarding a situation I've now found myself in.
I joined a bookies 2 days ago online, deposited around 20 pound and ended up winning a small amount. My account then became suspended and I was advised to go on live chat and send identification. They asked me for pictures of my debit card, a utility bill and a bank statement which I provided. The one thing I could not provide was a passport or driving license as I don't and have never had these.
I was then advised I could send a birth certificate instead which I sent off for verification, I was then told this would still not be enough despite being told it was numerous times the day before. They have hold of the money in the account still at the moment which is why I want it verified so I can withdraw.
Does anyone know what I can do about this? I can not get a driving license because I would be prohibited due to a medical condition and have no intention of leaving the country due to this either.

See terms 2.5 -2.7 of their website.
It seems to me that if you cannot now provide the authorisation you were made aware they would request before your first withdrawal, then all you can do is appeal to their better nature and see what else, if anything, you could use.
Note, even if you could provide the correct documents for validating your account, it could still take up to 8 working days to withdraw money.
Otherwise, you neither need a medical certificate or an intention to travel abroad to obtain a passport, and one will often come in handy to identify yourself with (e.g. to open a bank account, get a job, etc)0 -
There's a specialist gambling board on here. If you post on there you will get some good advice on what to do. They're used to things like this0
