Small Wind Co-op

Hi,

Apologies if this group has been covered and I haven't seen it....if not,

Small Wind Co-op

(as a new user I'm not allowed to paste in the link to their page, so that is why I haven't!)

Does anyone have any information about this group?

I am considering investing in it (more because I believe the people have to fund renewables and bring about the important change our current fracking government seems unconcerned to champion) and I am seeking further information regarding their viability, trustworthiness etc.

I wondered if anyone here had any views on this co-op that would be helpful in making a decision whether or not to invest with them?

Many thanks

  • Thanks for being the first to confirm my suspicion that posting on here will not get me useful feedback but just provide random web heroes the chance to find a detail to be sarcastic about ;)

I admit there's some other categories that also fit the topic. Thanks.

    Anyone else please?

The only person being sarcastic is the Op NeverInDebt was just telling you this is the incorrect forum and to make it not look like a dig they put a smiler in.

Agree - that was a helpful post and didn't deserve the OP's reply.

Why? It was a valid point.

It's quite normal for newcomers to be redirected to other boards if there is a more suitable one. NeverInDebt's post was a helpful one - the OP's reaction wasn't fair.
  • I did search forums first for "renewables" and it didn't bring up a definitive, dedicated forum in the results which is why I chose to post in Energy. So the first response would have been helpful had it involved an actual direction of where a newbie should look on the site, rather than just telling me to look for something that doesn't come up definitely in a search in forums for "renewables".

Which is why I reacted the way I did...

And here we are. A self fulfilling prophecy! Lol. No worries. I'm happy to look elsewhere for serious information on the topic rather than get too involved in forum spats.

    Thanks!

This says much more about you than the people you are commenting on.

The first response has a clickable link. If you prefer to avoid forum spats then don't start them.
  • It didn't have a clickable link when the reply was first posted. Had it included the link when posted I would have said..."much appreciated" and clicked on it. But revision got us there in the end. Even if it doesn't say "renewables" or something that says it's about energy at all...Green & Ethical Moneysaving doesn't inherently specify "renewable energy suppliers". It's so broad a topic heading I would probably have posted in Energy anyway and done the same tour. ha!
