Just a 'Heads Up'

If like me you love the old games that came with Windows 7 and Vista, like Solitaire, Chess, Minesweeper etc. and were annoyed to find they didn't run in Windows 10 there is a solution. Remove the old versions first.

Winaero have a download of a zip file which when opened provides a .exe file to install all your old favourites on a Windows 10 machine. I've just installed them on our two laptops and they work perfectly ... no annoying adverts like the latest Microsoft Games app replacements from the app store.

Make sure before clicking on 'Finish' that you untick the box for Winaero services.

You may want to keep the link bookmarked or the zipfile saved because the old games have an annoying habit of being wiped whenever W10 updates.

A solution might be to try installing them in a different folder?
