Unhappy with insurer's replacement phone

My DD 2 year old iPhone 5 replaced by insurance as Unrepairable following liquid damage. Told she would get grade A refurbished phone which was fine though would have preferred repair as phone had been well looked after. After an exchange of photos they have agreed to replace the phone. I have told them any colour is fine, I'm more interested in not having a scratched screen and a poor condition phone.
