Energy club details are wrong

Help

I have received notification that I will be getting my pay back for switching dual fuels to BG. However, the mail note from MSE says unfortunately only one was switched and therefore I will be getting only 50% of the benefit. I called BG who confirmed I have switched both fuels and my online account details confirm this. How do I contact MSE to get this resolved? I cannot find any contact details, only FAQ's

Very frustrated.

Unfortunately, by using the "Cheap" Energy Club for your switch, you've let yourself in for what will probably be a protracted and time-consuming process of email exchanges to get this sorted out. :(

MSE’s “Cheap” Energy Club – which, let it be remembered, demands from you a totally unjustifiable amount of personal details about you before it will even deign to give you a comparison quotation – is anally retentive about divulging its own contact details.

It’s the only comparison site of which I’m aware that refuses to reveal its telephone number and even its postal address

We aren't a company that has a telephone service for users to reach us on. However, we respond as quickly as we can to emails from our users.

So, when a problem like yours arises, there’s no way of speaking, quickly and directly, to a human being who can sort it out on the spot.

That’s why it’s best to avoid the wretched thing completely and use a proper energy comparison site, such as Energy Helpline, instead.

(Via Quidco or Top Casback if you want to be rewarded with a cashback). :money:
  • Hi paul hewitt,

Sorry to hear about this! If you send us an email to energyclub@moneysavingexpert.com we can have a look into this for you.

As we're an online-only company, we don't have a telephone number to contact our users from. However, we do reply to all user queries via email - usually on the same day but if not, within 48 hours.

    Thanks,
    MSE Laura
