The rule in our house is 'if the radiator in your room is not warm go back to bed' - it comes on at 6.50 for 20 mins to warm the house up before I wake them for school.
Finally went to bed at 11.30 I was a mess.
DS1 wants to go out to town... erm.. No! The computer game he wants is not on sale, and it is nearly £20 cheaper online. He is busy building models so he is occupied and happy.

My hubby is a 23rd birthday as well! Always make an effort to make sure he doesnt get lost in the Christmas flow!haha.
I had those hamsters, I had Syrian ones growing up, then in Uni got the Robovski, mine were little monsters, one was quite nippy and the other a wannabe escape artist!haha.

One of ours is a biter, one of my fingers looks like I have been attacked by a tiny vampire. So cute! I adore them already. The kids wander past and have a chat with them, but are more interested in their computers at the moment with so much going on. School days (no xbox Mon - Fri) will sort that out. The kids have plans to buy them a bridge with their Xmas money so they have another place to hide, so they are not forgotten.
I am sitting here, looking at the tree wondering how soon I can get away with putting it down and getting on with stripping the wallpaper. There must be something wrong with me! But I am resisting the urge to get things back to normal. DH is having a lovely time. He is very happy with his presents this year.
I, however, am wondering what on earth I am going to do with m-i-l's gift as it is three sizes too small and no longer on the website. It does still have its tags on though. Her sister must have asked her what size I am as her gift is also 3 sizes too small (also no longer on the website )
So, I am going to go on a diet and see if I can get down to a happier size before Easter, but first I have to tidy up the last 1/4 of the Xmas cake into my mouth.
I think putting up the new curtain rail (with string curtain pulley thing) will have to do for today on the home improvement front.4/10/25Three Years Mortgage Free Yay!
