Hi everyone
I have just returned early from my holiday to Majorca as my daughter was sick every morning for 4 hours and we thought its best to return.
We were due to return on 15th August. We travelled with Thomas Cook who told us that they could not help as the fights were non refundable or transferable.
We booked new flights with Monarch and returned on 10th August.
What I wanted to know is would I be able to claim any of the cost of new flights back from our insurance?
Thanks

I guess the devil will be in the detail of the policy wording...may be worth a call to them...only they can really say if you would be covered0

I spoke to them they said submit a claim. Its worth a try. Thank you0

I'm no expert, but I would imagine they would need to see doctors note to say you should return, rather than you deciding to come home on your own accord. You can but try to claim though.0

You can only ask them, but I doubt they'll pay for you just deciding to come early. If you need repatriating they will pay, but it's something they arrange after consulting with the hospital you attend. Just throwing up in a morning doesn't constitute a need to be repatriated.0
