Devere parking notice

I need advice, I received a parking notice from Devere parking. They are demanding £100, well this is news to me. Apparently they fixed a notice to my window screen back in April, and now I have received a parking notice through my letter box. The parking charge was given because apparently my permit was not displayed downstairs in the flat where I rent car park. I have contacted house and sons and I explained that I never received that notice affixed to my window screen and that I have a permit but sometimes it does fall in front of my window screen so it's harder to see. They didn't care I also contacted the parking company and I was met with a ride man saying I have to pay I didn't have a permit and why was I parked there. What do I do pay or ignore?
