Garden clearance

Options
Hi guys a bit of advice needed please- I have moved into a new property and found approx 1.5 tonnes of broken up concrete, bricks etc all over grown with green stuff. Unfortunately I have left it too long to follow any legal recourse so it fall to me to meet the costs to clear it.
We have had a quotation from a nationwide firm to move it and get rid of waste but this was over £900.
I have priced up a skip at £200 and was wondering about the potential of hiring a labourer or 2 on a day rate to load the skip. Not looking for something for nothing but also want to make sure I pay a fair price.
The downfall of my plan is I have no idea what a fair rate is or how to source a suitable hopefully honest labourer so any help would really be appreciated.

Find someone via a local facebook group. I'd imagine someone could do a decent job in a day. A thorough job in 2. Day rate for an unskilled uninsured labourer on benefits £80-100?

Can you def not DIY? Picking up bricks isn't hard.

Do you have a Betel Charity in your area? They do gardening and have cleared my garden before (admittedly mostly weeds), but they might be happy to clear yours.

They work really hard and you'd have the satisfaction of helping out a charity.

U can probably save some money by going with skip and labourer. I would be tempted to get couple of quotes from local firms for garden clearance. Some local garden firms may offer some discount if u do it in off season, say October when bulk of garden work is done..
