@Stator... Thinking more about when I come to sell - sort of thing solicitors can ask for and can just cause issues then... I'd rather get it out of the way now... having said that, a quick online search for most of my neighbours sheds in their maisonettes yields very little in the way of PP0

Are you planning on selling in the next 4 years? After 4 years I don't think they can take any action against you so it would be a non-issue.
