Ok, so Apple blocks it. Must be a way around it. What is it?!

Very good, but already tried that! Doesn't work.0 -
Tried what exactly ?
Which of the 3.5 Million results have you attempted, and why didnt they work.
error messages ?
Failed to install?
You need to be more specific (and less lazy) if you want help
Tried what? Googling it.
Looked at every article on the first 2 pages and none of them worked. Flogging a dead horse came to mind. I'm obviously not going to go through hundreds of thousands of pages, therefore decided to ask if anyone had done the same. Nothing overly lazy about it.
Nothing failed to install, rather every suggested app that I downloaded would not pick up the videos I want to cast (ones that I purchased from the iTunes store and can be watched in the 'videos' app).0 -
So you failed to mention you wanted to watch videos from the itunes store .
If you had mentioned that, and googled that then the second link down would have told you that :-
I think you'll find that you cannot play Apple DRM protected content such as movie rentals via Chromecast. An Apple TV using AirPlay would work however, streaming from either the PC or the iPad mini. Note that you may only have one copy of rental material, a limited time to start viewing, and a limited time to watch the whole thing once you have started. You would have to remove the DRM from the vids to be able to cast them normally.
Let me know if you need me to google how to do that for you
