Basic phone with long battery

Hi,

I am going to pilgrimage end of August. Likely for a few days I will have no access to charge my phone. I am looking for a basic phone with long battery life - It will just be used for contacting my family travelling with me in case we are loss.

Can you recommend a basic phone with good battery?

Thanks
MS

Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

Do you need the phone on constantly or could you just turn it on every few hours? You can also get quite cheap portable chargers so a combination of these two suggestions should see you through a few days.

Just Google 'power bank' and 'powerpack' to see what's available. Mine can recharge my phone from flat to full ten times and cost £29 but is a Swiss inhouse brand. The one my OH has can fully charge his phone 5x and was £12 from Lidl.

My basic £10 Nokia from Carphone Warehouse lasts a fortnight on a charge, I assume all cheap basic phones are similar.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.
