How much does a professionally fitted home security system cost for 3 bedroom house?

Options
Hi all,

How much does a professionally fitted home security system cost for 3 bedroom house?

I already have home security system but it is out of date.

What are some options I can explore?

Do people sell their old systems?
Can I re-use my curreny sensors for my new system to bring the price down?

What do you guys suggest?

The cost will vary somewhat depending on the area. If you already have wiring in place, it might be possible to reuse it.

Having a monitored system will increase the cost further.

I'd say anywhere from £300-400 upwards. If you are looking for a reduction in insurance premiums, you should look for a NSI or SSAIB accredited installer.

I wouldn't suggest buying an old system. Wired is always preferred over wireless and if you have the wires already in place it will make the job easier.

So you're got an existing system? Is it wired? Does it work? Cover all the areas you need?

You might be able to just replace the old components on your existing system.
