Tesco Highview Parking fine

Hi,

I have recently had a parking ticket for parking in Tesco for longer than was allowed. Today I have had a follow up saying its a reminder and if I do not pay, then a something debt charge will be issued or something along them lines.

I have read about these and heard they cannot be enforced. I plan on ignoring it still. Just wondering if anyone thinks I am doing the right food or any help to if I am right by saying they cannot enforce them or if anyone has been through the same issue.

Many thanks

you heard wrong or need you ears cleaning , lol

if this is in england or wales then you appeal and also complain to tesco and get it cancelled

read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread near the top of this actual forum , 3 threads down

IGNORE has not been correct for almost 4 years

yes they can be enforced , as many, MANY people find out in court every year , and as Barry Beavis found out 3 times when he lost his IGNORE pe case in 3 different courts

it is different for N.I. and Scotland though , so read that newbies thread and decide what to do now you know better , plus dont listen to old wives tales

Not sure what food as to do with this although you were shopping for this in Tesco !

The RK should appeal this as Highview IIRC do not refer to POFA or keeper liability. The charge is therefore not compliant with the requirements to hold the keeper liable. State that there is no obligation to provide driver details nor can any presumptions be made.

As above, please read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES then appeal using the BPA template in blue. If you are finding your way here from another board you need to go to MSE, Motoring, Parking tickets, fines and parking sub-board.

Do not pay, do not ignore, do not reveal who was driving, don't miss the appeal deadline.
Complain to Tesco in parallel (store manager, not customer services.)

Write bad stuff on Tesco Facebook page.

Or call 01382 227820 and ask them to get it cancelled which they can do for their own sites.

If you've paid anything, that's the end of it. Cash-pan-flush!

Why are you posting on such an old thread?
