I took an 18 month Virgin Media XL Package out back in September 2015
I have sinced moved in with my partner and along with the accomodation I no longer need the Virgin Media service as she already has Sky installed
I believe I am able to cancel the contract early by disconnection fee, in which is capped at £240
Has anyone else cancelled early and what was your experience please?
Regards

Their "experience" was that they were charged an Early Termination of Contract ( ETC) fee.Has anyone else cancelled early and what was your experience please?
You need to contact Virgin directly to find out exactly how much you will pay because it depends on the individual subscription you have.0 -
If you have only TV XL it will not be as much as £240, however if you have all three products, phone, tv and bb. Then it will be the max £240.
It made be cheaper to cancel the Sky contract and move your Virgin account to your partners house.0 -
