Is £350 a fair quote for tiling my new kitchen please ?

Options
The £350 only includes grouting and tile adhesive for a 6x6 square metres of tiling. I will have to pay for the tiles themselves.

Could someone please advise me whether this is a fair quote and whether there is any value in getting another quote.

Thanks

Is it 6 x 6 metres (36 sq. m) - can't really tell from your post? If it is, £350 seems a fair price if the tiler does a good job and he/she is supplying the adhesive and grout.

If you've seen examples of their work or they've been recommended by someone trusted, I'd be happy enough paying that.

thats ridiculously cheap. That would be atleast 3 days work if its nice and square with a level subfloor.

On our new totally square floor, extension 20sq m, ours cost £300 and we supplied tiles, grout and adhesive. Took him two days and I think another couple of hours to put skirting tiles.

He might be doing it as a homer and gets the materials "free" from his day job?

Wow you are all getting it cheap. We supplied the tiles and grout too. Builder only supplied the adhesive.
  • Hi all,

It cost me £200. Paid in cash. I supplied the tiles. He had the rest of stuff like grouting as part his day job.
