Tonight when my husband was cooking, cupboards next to extractor fan was getting wet. I never noticed that before but noticed every time I put extractor fan on, its blowing air to my face from its hood. Its sucks but not very powerfull considering its an expensive appliance and blows out into kitchen. It is connected to air outlet outside wall. Not sure if its normal for then to blow inside or if its also blowing outside at all? Not sure faulty or builder fault either?

If its got outside wall outlet then it shouldn't be blowing air inside. Ur best bet might to to first contact the manufacturer helpline rather than builder ...0

Sounds like the fitter hasn't fixed the pipe connectors inside the extractor in the correct position.Should be easy to rectify if the pieces are still on site.0

Our fitter managed to leave out the little collar bit that sits above the flaps that open in the extractor. Meant the flaps fouled on the ducting and the result was lots of noise but little suck.
Could have called them back but it took me about 10 mins to fabricate a suitable spacer to solve the problem.0 -
Well builder came and said pipe was disconnected from the extractor. So he connects it but comes off again apparently. He duct tapes it and says not to use for a day. I turned it on today but now its not sucking at all. Its blowing out from the bottom. There is definitley something wrong with it.0
