Baggage delayed for full holiday duration

I flew to Stockholm on Tues 2 Aug, for a 5-day solo trip with the intention of photographing the city. The flight included a change at Brussels with a 55 minute connection time, but the first flight was a bit late.
- My checked-in luggage, one suitcase, did not arrive at Stockholm. My hand luggage had included my camera body, but my lenses were in the checked case.
- Reported whilst at the airport and a copy of the Property Irregularity Report was provided. Told that the suitcase would be delivered to my hotel.
- During holiday, regularly contacted the local office for the airline for any updates. I also kept an eye on the WorldTracer site, but this always displayed 'Tracing continues, Please check back later'.
I purchased some replacement toiletries to the value of £25 but did not buy any clothes since I was forever expecting the case to turn up the next day.
My final day in Stockholm was Sun 7 Aug. At that time the case *had* made it to Sweden, but unfortunately at another Stockholm airport. So I returned to the UK without my case, arriving home on the evening of 7 Aug.
After 5 days of sparse use in Sweden, my laptop battery had drained, and the power adapter was in my suitcase. So I bought a new power adapter (£65) on Monday.
Today 10 Aug my suitcase was finally delivered to my home. The case itself is damaged (needs to be replaced) but all contents are thankfully fine.
So I shall be making a claim for the £25 toiletries, £65 adapter and whatever a replacement case costs me tomorrow (likely £20-£30). I hope not to have any arguments from the airline about that.
The lack of belongings impeded my activities and I feel hard-done-by over this. I'm usually against the modern 'compensation culture' but feel I deserve something. So I'm throwing it to the MSE community to ask what you think please.
Many thanks.

You might struggle with the money for the new adapter but other costs should be fine.
The reason I say you might struggle with the adapter cost is airlines will usually pay out on essential items only and cases are not truly considered lost until 21 days if memory serves. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
£25 for toiletries for five days? I don't spend that much in a month! Mind you, I don't buy expensive brands and maybe the OP does.0

does your travel insurance pay for delayed baggage?0

That's a fair comment. It was a toothbrush, toothpaste, suncream, deodorant, moisturiser and some plasters for a blister. Stockholm is really expensive, added to the fact that they were purchased from a chemist in the city centre. So 2-3 times the price you'd pay in Tesco.DFW Nerd 0350 -

Since when was Stockholm a country?0 -
As a frequent flyer my luggage has gone astray a few times. On the first occasion like yourself I only bought the bare necessities and put in a claim - it got paid no problem. The next time, which just so happened to be the very next trip with the same airline, I was on a business trip so had to buy a suit, shirts, tie, shoes, belt, socks etc. - again the bill was paid no problem.
I am not sure whether or not you will get anything beyond the items you actually paid for - and what you are claiming for sounds reasonable.IITYYHTBMAD0 -

Sweden is expensive, you can expect to pay around £5 for some showergel.0 -
I have had my luggage lost once, annoyingly it was when I going on a two week trek in malaysia so I needed a new trek pack, hammock, mossie net, clothes, walking boots, deet, suncream, toiletries, rope, cutlery, plate and loads of stuff. Initially the airline would only refund clothes and toiletries, my insurance company persued the rest and all costs were refunded bar a £40 excess. The total claim was around £600.
