Hi all,
I have the choice to £100 and accept 3 points, or pay £84 for a speed awareness course for driving over the local speed limit.
Question is (and i cant find 100% clear answers on this), is can I pay the £100 fine over 3 installments, or does it need to be paid in one go?
Cheers
Dave

Do the course. Mate of mine works in the motor insurance industry and he advised me (and Mrs Hogweed !) to do the course as they (the insurance companies) are now loading massively on speeding convictions.
Cheaper to do the course as a lot of companies don't require you to declare it (although some do )0 -

Suggest you might to try running some dummy quotes through some price comparison sites with 0 and 3pts. You'll find two things out, one that while some insurers will lindeed load for a 3pt speeding conviction there'll still be many insurers for it will make none or very little difference to the premium charged. Secondly, you'll know in future to take what your mate says with a large pinch of salt..0 -
That course seems very cheap...If it is that price, I'd do it as it's a no brainer, surely?Hi all,
