    I dont understand. When my renewal comes through, it always shows the annual premium then I head off to the comparison websites to see how that compares.

    Prices change all the time so if this change is going to mean there is an extra line saying that your renewal has gone up by £x then I dont see what that would gain?

    It will give you your renewal quote, just like now, but it will also show what you paid last year. So you can easily see the change year on year for your insurance.
