Apologies if someone has already posted - British Gas Warm Home Scheme is now open for 2016/17, I've just applied for mine.

    It seems BG are doing things a bit differently this year. I had an immediate confirmation that I qualified and would get the discount. In previous years they have written to me by snail mail, so there was a few weeks waiting to find out.

    Nextyeartina, if you just type British Gas Warm Home Scheme into your browser you will link to B.G., and a form will be there for you to complete and submit online.

    I just applied to BG and they said on the next screen I qualified - did you not receive that confirmation ?

    No I didn't. I've sent them an email just to check that they did receive it. Thanks.

    Have you successfully applied in previous years? Maybe, if it's a first application, someone reviews the initial info.
