    Its not a bill in the sense of an invoice for a service.
    Its a grand off your house, paid back upfront instead of over ?30? years.
    Long term its saving you £500 or so :D

    Since the mortgage is all agreed, can you whack it on a credit card, then open up a 0% card account, move it across and then gradually pay it off for the next 2 or 3 years? It might make it a little less painful.

    Very bad advice, Lenders will sometimes do additional credit check before completion and could scupper the whole deal
