Change of name

I got married in June and I changed my name on bank accounts, credit cards and the electoral role as soon as I got back mid June.
I am wondering how long to leave it before trying to get myself a new credit card?
I tried to get a look at my credit report in my new name and it wasn't recognised.
I wondered if there was a time period for when a new name is registered with the CRAs.

My new name appeared on Clearscore about 1-2 weeks after changing it with my bank. Noddle also recognised it as an alias around the same time, but hasn't actually changed the name on my Noddle account.
I can't see there being much reason to leave it any longer, if you've updated details with companies that report to your CRAs they should at least know that it's a name you go by.0 -
I had to submit a copy of my divorce certificate to change my name back on noddle-maybe you need to send a copy of your marriage certificate.0
