Personally, I would appeal. You have a cast iron defence, and if the IAS reject it, you will have a flawed in law anonymous document which you could show to a judge if they were daft enough to issue a claim.
You will also have a document which you could send to Trading Standards or your M.P.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
