My dad has stolen my iMac claiming i gave it to him

Sorry if im in the wrong place but i really need help
6 weeks ago my dad kicked me out and has effectivly stolen my mac saying i gave it to him when i never
I spoke to pcso about getting it back and they said i need proof of purchase i have no recipets but my bank statement showing i have paid out £2000 for the mac is this enough as proof of purchase as i bought with inheritance money from my late uncle and i really want my property back
Any help?!?!

However, to attempt to answer your question - Yes, your bank statement should be enough proof of purchase - Suggest you go back with evidence requested....However, I'm guessing they may decide it's a Civil matter.
