Definitely inform them of a change of address (have you also notified the DVLA for you V5C and driver licence - must send a notification for each).
If you are emailing them send a bcc to another of your email addresses, or to a relative's email, so you can prove independently that the notification took place. If you are sending by snail mail, make sure you keep a copy and obtain free certificates of posting for each one from you Post Office counter. Don't send recorded/signed for. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I am going to send it via snail mail and I think I will also send it via email to see if I get a faster response. I will inform them of my new address.
When I sold the car I sent the form off the DVLA but not sure if I received anything back confirming this because I did move out around the same time.0 -

I never said it was. I am merely suggesting that since this is just a poxy debt collection letter there is no need to risk inadvertently writing anything that might be a hostage to fortune.0
