Has anyone put money into ZOPA is is as easy as it says it is ?
its a tempting deal
has anyone lost any money with them ?
I'm looking to put 50k in for a year , don't need the money out in a hurry but would like to earn a decent rate on it thanks for your advice

Perhaps have a look on http://www.p2pindependentforum.com/ to see some of the alternatives. Should probably at least also consider ratesetter - could split the money between the two, or several more.
Haven't added any money to zopa for a while now - IIRC it's very slow to get money lent out there.0 -
There's plenty of P2P alternatives offering much higher returns than Zopa such as Savingstream. I wouldn't dump that sum into Zopa, esp if you dont understand its mechanics. Sure it seems like a reasonable investment vs cash but theres much better alternatives considering Zopa lending is unsecured as well.
Depends on your investment objectives and personal circumstances but i would split that across multiple streams.0
