Vinyl floor fault

We have just had a vinyl floor fitted in our kitchen, by a local company who we have used many times. Nothing wrong with the fitting at all, but there is a definite blemish in a small section of the vinyl, which is in form of small bubble and a crease, it's only been down a week, when we pointed it out to the fitter,he said it should come out in a week. It's shown no sign of this, it's not a fitting problem but a fault in the vinyl. We took some pictures and went into the shop yesterday, and they agreed to send someone to look at it this morning, from there atitude I don't think there interested,and I'm sure they think we are being fussy. This floor cost us £400, we are not being fussy, the blemish is in a position were it's easily seen. If it was under a rug the we wouldn't bother. What are our rights with this, if possible we don't want to get into solicitors etc. All we have paid is £80 deposit. Fitter did let slip that they may offer some money off, not that keen on that solution,as I would image it would be very little. Any advice on what to say to them and how to sort it appreciated. I had the same problem turned out to be the sub floor not being prepared and cleaned fully before putting the vinyl down


I ended up taking the flooring company to court to retrieve my money
