Olympics at bedtime ?

I usually listen to 5 Live from about 11.30pm to 1am.
The programme is varied with phone ins and different experts.
Although I enjoy the Olympics, I do not want to listen day and night.
I am finding it difficult to find an interesting programme.

Beach volleyball is better on TV.0

I would choose any sport over listening to Steven Nolan every time. Apart from golf.0

The Olympics is every 4 years it runs for 16 days, there are worse things in life than missing your precious radio shows for 16 days.
Listen to an entertaining pod cast instead whilst the Olympics is on.0 -
And I thought this thread would be about an entirely different type of Olympics at bed time....'Just because its on the internet don't believe it 100%'. Abraham Lincoln.
I have opinions, you have opinions. All of our opinions are valid whether they are based on fact or feeling. Respect other peoples opinions, stop forcing your opinions on other people and the world will be a happier place.0 -

I prefer Dotun Adebayo when he's doing the jukebox spot and the grammar spot - he's very funny although on after 1a.m. Can't abide Stephen Nolan either.
However, I agree about missing the night time programming but now listen to podcasts which I download and then stream from my tablet to a bluetooth speaker. Currently listening to:-
The Infinite Monkey Cage
Monday evening R4 quiz - it's Counterpoint just now
The Beef and Dairy Network (comedy)
The Moth Hour
I don't seem to be able to listen to anything all the way through in one go, I just fall asleep so quickly, so each one does me a few times.
The Olympics are soon over and it's only a nuisance because of the time difference. I try and be tolerant!0
