Car hire damage

The car didn't smell of smoke as I only vaped in it and I cannot work out how the burn got there
The car was returned fully hoovered cleaned inside and out and didn't have any smell of smoke only strawberry vape. It is not against law to vape in cars as smoking cigarettes is. But I will ask for break down of costs and I'm fully aware that the vehicle has to be "off road" while repairs are made and this must be chargeable. But if this is the case am I charged the same as renting vehicle while it's off road being repaired or will they charge me more? I'll wait and see and update post on results. Thanks again to all for input

It may not be against the rules but it could be against their rules saying that you can't vape in the car. Especially if you have left a strawberry smell in the car, they could charge you to remove this (no matter how nice you think it is ).
