Portland direct changed flight time,advice.

A young relative booked a holiday to Morocco, and was particularly keen on the early flight 5.55am,as it would give them more time in resort, and its a special occasion. They have just been told the flight time has been changed to 15.45,which they are quite disappointed about. Is there anything they can do? I have checked the online brochure, its showing no more availability for those dates.

Under 12 hours change so no chance of a refund or alternative holiday.

Sorry think they'll have to like it or lump it

Seems to be a fair bit of this around at the moment - nice little earner for the travel companies if they have a couple of half-booked flights. As Alan said, they're obviously all keeping it below the "magic" 12 hours and probably not a lot you can do apart from cancel (and don't they know it). Just remember who not to book with next year.

Look on the bright side though - they probably won't lose a great deal of time really, will be well up to "parteee" when they get there instead of zonking out for 8 hours and being ready to "parteee" around the same time anyway...
