Odd puppy behaviour

Not an issue in the slightest but very unusual behavior from my new puppy so was wondering what thoughts were out there on this.
Red fox lab !!!!!, owned for less than 2 weeks from age of 9 weeks (so eleven weeks old).
We have two other dogs (not sure if relevant).
So imagine usual puppy - totally hyper and crazy, plays, chews etc (amazingly nearly always asks to go out to toilet!). If I pick her up and sit on my reclining computer chair its like a switch goes off and she goes to sleep/settles down.
If my partner sits in same chair, nothing. Same for both of us in any other chair in the house. This is 100% consistent behaviour, she can be running round like a lunatic, I pick her up sit in chair and gone. not the same as her falling asleep after hyper activity - this is any time.
She has also taken to sleeping under chair. My theory is she sees me spending a lot of time there (on computer) so see's it as a safe, calm place. It's freaky though (and stupidly cute)!

Some people just have "it" when it comes to dogs, and other animals.
No idea what "it" is, but I've employed kennel staff for years and see it every day, the good people seem to exude a calmness that animals recognise and trust.
Wish "it" could be bottled! Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!0 -
Our dog, who we've had since eight weeks and is now 2, is totally different with me and husband in her habits.
Just the way it is0
