Missed Payments less than 30 days late

Options
Hi, I recently changed bank accounts and canx my direct Debits. My mobile phone bill was due on the 7th of the month. I have been paying it with my new debit card on the 26th of the month. I was aware that the phone bill was paid late every month but paid in the same month. I have since noticed that the phone company have been recording these as missed payments on my credit report. I thought that only payments over 30 days late were recorded? Is the phone company correct or can I appeal to have the late payments on my credit report removed?

They are correct to report even 1 day late payment as the rules are.

But that doesn't mean that you cannot appeal. Simply write them a letter (or call them) explaining the situation and ask would they consider removing them (you can throw in that you will change providers if they won't if they hesitate). But this is up to them, as they have obligation to do the opposite of want as credit history is supposed to be as factual as it can be.
