It is not as simple as removing a namethesilent1 wrote: »I have spoken to her and she is happy to agree for my name to come off. I just hope the Lender agrees. Is there anything I should be aware of or that can help my request to them?
She will be looking to have the mortgage in her name only which will require sufficient income and likely a maximum LTV
Even if she has sufficient income to support the multipliers/affordability calculations, the CCJs may well be an issue
If she cannot support the mortgage on her own income or there is negative equity then the options may be to leave as is or sell up0 -
