We have pond fish and about 3 months ago one of the goldfish developed swim bladder I tried everything from starving him to giving him frozen peas but nothing worked about 2 weeks ago he started going completely upside down and I resigned myself to losing him the beginning of this week he has been under the waterfall letting the running water hit his tummy this morning I noticed he is spending a lot longer right way up can it be cured after so long

Yes it is one of the few fish problems that can right itself, generally it is helped by warmer water,so that could be a factor. In the past I have removed a struggling fish but I think it is better to just let it recover if it can and only take action if it stops showing any interest in food.I find there is no way back once that happens.Sometimes you just have to hope for the best.0
