I've had timber double glazed sashes installed but the dg units are upside down - company name upside down and printed spacer bar on bottom. As it's writing, rather than a random logo, it's really obvious they're upside down. They're toughened so they may well be wrong way round, too, as I understand the toughened pane needs to be external? Any advice gratefully received - am I being too picky?

is the spacer just printed at the bottom . how odd and lucky . they are printed onto the full lengths before they are cut (normally). If it the company name are you talking the toughened stamp in a corner ? Again the toughened is stamped so if one pane is stamped and the other not then you know which way around they are . Often if only one side is toughened and you have DG units such as k glass then the k needs to go on the outside .so they may not be the wrong way around . when they used to make toughened without any additives then we used to judge which way around was best for the toughened to go . eg . lower than 800mm inside we would stick the tough inside . higher inside but a garden out we would reverse it . upstairs .often inside . you are being picky to be honest because if the stamp was on the side bar you would still see it . if its back to front then go and stand outside . sorry . but .. :rotfl::cool: hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0
