Lifetime ISA Query

I am currently saving towards buying my first home. However, due to having non-standard income, I am unlikely to be able to get a Mortgage to buy a property. Under the current Help-to-buy ISA scheme, you can only claim the bonus if you are using a mortgage to buy the property. Does anyone know if this will also be the case with the Lifetime ISA to be launched in 2017. I've looked around for information but have found nothing which says if you can use the bonus if you are paying for your first property in cash.
Many Thanks
Matt
