ps:- they had 6 years to try a court case, so no idea why you think it had "gone away" in less than 6 years
the debt never "goes away" , but they can only try civil court in a 6 year "window" , so they are resurrecting old cases to see if any bear fruit
I would assume this happened pre POFA , so before oct 2012 , so POFA2012 wont apply ?0 -
