Pet related words that are often spelled in the wrong way

Options
I often see people posting about having their pets "spaded" or having their "bowels" repositioned, both quite scary before you realise what is actually meant ;)

Also , feeding their cats "Whiskers" .. hmmm

Any more you noticed and want to share?

Tom cat often used to describe male cats despite them being neutered - or am I wrong here? Always thought Tom cat is a boy that was not neutered. Pls correct me if I am wrong?

I've always used 'Tom' as a general name for any male cat, and called any un-neutered males "that cat down the road with the massive balls", but I think I might be getting it wrong :rotfl:

A bit like those people who don't seem to know the difference between bought and brought. It's hardly difficult! And nothing and something having suddenly sprouted the letter k on the end of it.
  • I have some reptiles as pets, pet hates are, shredded instead of shedded, and Captive bread (makes me really laugh) instead of captive bred.
