Me and the other half have a few days off together in September and want to go away somewhere in either the UK or Europe.
Idealy we'd like somewhere reasonably quiet (not a big city) with some sight seeing. It can be anywhere in the UK or ideally around a six hour drive from Dieppe.
I'd like it to be fairly romantic too as its our first break together.
Suggestions please.

Strasbourg is quite nice and about 5-6 hours from DieppeChange is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0

Caen, Bayeux and the Normandy beaches.

Bruges, Ghent, and Amiens.
All gorgeous and nice countryside to drive through aswell.0 -

Plenty of options in the uk as well, bath, Oxford, Edinburgh, York, Canterbury......0 -
