Ocado cancelled order.

I had a order from Ocado booked for between 4.30-5.30pm today but got a email from them at 1.30am saying they have cancelled order due to payment issue with paypal.

I have enough money in my paypal account to cover it so dont understand why they have done this.

It was my 1st order so not sure i will order again and do they take payment some 15 hours before its due to get to me?

They take the payment after its been delivered as they don't know if you are going to return anything or give them any bags which they give you 5p for.

I usually get a final receipt a couple of hours after delivery with a final total and then it comes off of my card usually the next day.

I just called them and it was that they did a pre auth payment on my paypal so shopping cost and £2 so it took it over my paypal sum that was in there.

I dont understand all that but have got order coming tomorrow now.

Yes they do a pre authorisation of £2 and a check on the estimated balance of your order just to make sure that there are sufficient funds and then after the shopping has been delivered they then take the cost of the shopping off of the card/paypal
